One of the biggest let downs Chiropractors experience is seeing their patients in public and while talking about how they are doing they mention they were in an accident and went and saw “Dr. So in So”…… not you! Now you stop and think to yourself, “why didn’t they come see me?”
The answer is simple, OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND.
Consumers will go with friends and family referrals and who is the most convenient (typically the last person that reminded them they could help, Dr. So in So).
Marketing to your existing and even inactive patients is vital to the longevity of your patient doctor relationship. In addition to staying in front of your patients you need to ensure that they know ALL the ways you can help them from treating their back pain, to headaches or even care after they have been in an auto accident. Your practice is not just for back pain as some patients may think. If you want to be the one, they go to for care you must stay in front of them and engage them.
This can be done in many different fashions such as Facebook posts, monthly email newsletters and monthly / quarterly postcards, preferred patient specials, quarterly workshops, community events etc. The ways are unlimited. Remember persistence, ongoing engagements and purposeful attention to your patients will keep you top of mind.
