Social Media Platforms
Which one will benefit you?

While it is true that having an online presence and being active on social media is becoming essential to a business’ success in today’s world, it is not always as obvious which platforms are the best to invest your time and finances into.
Facebook: As far as social media goes, Facebook is the largest, and the most successful. It currently has two billion users, with that number increasing daily. By using Facebook’s business marketing tools, you have access to all these people. Facebook insights offer all the same advantages as Google analytics. Whether you are interested in reaching individuals who have been in recent auto accidents, or individuals suffering from a certain ailments or conditions, you can directly target these people with ads specific to services that they would be interested in.
Twitter: Most of the top influencers who you see regularly can be found on Twitter. Whether they be a large-scale politician, a CEO of a nationwide corporation, or an owner of a store in your community. Twitter brings attention to its users, and brands them as influencers in their individual industries. By reminding your potential and past patients of the value and service that your chiropractic practice provides, you build brand awareness, and instill a recognition of the benefit that chiropractic care has. And when these individuals who you have reached think of chiropractic, they think of you.
YouTube: Oftentimes YouTube is not categorized in the same way as other social media platforms, and therefore overlooked. However, YouTube has over one billion active users. On average, one hundred million hours of videos are viewed per day. YouTube holds great potential for promoting your services, as well as educating your patients on the different ailments and conditions that you treat.
Snapchat: If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a picture promoting your practice seen by thousands of potential patients in your community worth? Snapchat represents a more personal way to reach potential and past patients and a way to build relationships with them, increasing patient loyalty. Being able to connect with your community in a new way increases your brand awareness, and reaches individuals who you would not otherwise have had access to.
Each individual social media platform brings different strengths to the table, and allows you to reach a different audience in a different way. Mastering one of them may be the only difference you need to succeed, but it is important to understand how each of them work to know how best to build your individualized online presence.
