Calling has always been a great way to reach out to leads, though there are many times calls are made and voicemails are left with no results. Everyone is on their phones but not many will answer calls from numbers they do not know. It is important that your practice implement other methods of contact for patients.
Texting is a great way to reach leads, communicate appointment dates, check-in, or reschedule! Just like practices, leads and patients are busy with work and responsibilities. If you follow up with a call and receive no answer send out a text. Often it is easier for leads and patients to quickly respond over text rather than a call. Knowing the practice allows not only calling, but texting or even online submissions is a great option to inform people of as well.
